Mark Stanilawski

There is one thing that has been with me since the first time I picked up a fishing rod, the passion for fishing. I have been fishing since the age of 5 and musky fishing for 20+ years. Since the first time I had a follow my fishing passion became focused on the elusive musky. I am married and have a son and I’m lucky that my wife and son both share my passion for fishing. I spent 6 years as a volunteer firefighter before giving way to corporate America. Donnie and I share the same passions for firefighting and musky fishing, and have been sharing a boat hunting the elusive musky for years now. We not only fish tournaments, we spend as much time on local waters as schedules allow chasing skies. One of the things I love most about musky fishing is you are always learning, gaining new skills and knowledge.

I have been a full time firefighter in Wisconsin since 2002. I am married with three kids and have turned my passions for firefighting and musky fishing into the MFD. I have been fishing my whole life and got into musky fishing around 2002. Mark and I have been fishing together your years and have began fishing musky tournament also. Now I help run the Ironman Musky Series and the new Elite Musky Series with a good group of guys and sponsors. I am looking at broadening my skills as a fisherman and a person.
